A homeowner getting a pool or a hot tub added to their home is a great way to provide both recreation and relaxation in leisure times. I notice that if you have a busy lifestyle, people tends to respect you MORE in a way .

If you lead a carefree and easy lifestyle, people judge you in another BAD way.

Why is it so?

My life story : I had rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 9 years old, throughout childhood and teenage life, been through relapses and remission and relaspes and so on. at the age of 21, I contracted osteoporosis. Despite having all these chronic illnesses, I managed to study hard and get myself a diploma certificate in Chemical Engineering. It's never easy as during the times when I was studying, i had relaspes of my illnesses and I self study alot.

Finally, I graduated at 21 and got myself a job. I wasn't easy for me to commit to full time job basis as 8 hours as it is really a strain to my body . I worked in the society for 3 years and i quit. I became a private tutor teaching young children. I worked alone, managed my time according to my own needs.Being a full time tutor, the money was good and I don't really have to work 8 hours per day. every Monday to me is like a new day for me, there's no Monday blues for me.

Besides giving private tuition, i basically just enjoy doing my leisures. I have alot of free times to be precise. I did not want to strain myself much as I feel I had really suffered alot in the past and i feel i should really relax and enjoy life now.

All my friends dragged Monday as they work 8 hours per day. I noticed some changes in my friends when they found out I quit my 8 hours job and became a private tutor. it seemed to me, they see red eyes or they just find me I'm a plain and lazy gal. (to them, they sees me very free)

What's wrong with being free and enjoying my life?
I had SUFFERED and i'm happy being a private tutor, good money and you have times for your hobbies. What's wrong with that? due to that, i had friends who slowly drain away from me.

Do i really have to act busy so that i can EARN some respect from you??

Who cares about what others think about you? if friends cant be happy for you and the life changes you have made for yourself, then they are really not your friends. Keep doing what makes you happy. I had friends that now dont speak to me because they wanted me to quit my job and go work with them and because I said NO and I love where I am now, they hardly talk to me ever. You dont need an active or busy social life to be respected. You need to be YOU and take care of YOU and do what makes YOU happy to get respected. and if people cant respect you because of that, then they are the ones with the problem, not you. Good Luck!!!!

use a bucket to scoop some of the water out. it will take a while though…

LOL! take a garden hose and put one end in the pool; the other end out the front or back door (or a window or take it to the nearest sink); suck on the end until the water comes — let it drain. Then without the water, fold it up and remove it. and remember pools belong outside — find a shady spot next time!! Good luck.

I shake my head in wonder. I hope the kid is the culprit and set it up, not you?????? Wet carpet, yikes. Hope you have a carpet shampooer that can suck up the water from the rug, or a wet/dry shop vac. you might wind up with mildew in the rug.

Oh, removing the pool? The idea of siphoning it with a hose might work, but there might not be enough head for siphoning to work. Bailing should do the trick.

If you don't have a shady spot in the yard, maybe you could rig up a tarp, or buy a portable beach umbrella so the kid can have some shade and not ruin the rug?????

Make her empty it into a bucket, one cup at a time, and water the yard with it. do you have grass left?

And it survived the fireworks going off in your house? maybe if you were watching your kids instead of wasting your time on the computer, you wouldn't be having these problems.

OK. I got the pool 14 by 42 to be exact easy set well it was easy set up. I did not know you have to add this and that every so many days. well, a week laer full of bug and green yellowish. so, my husband works at walmart and he found in need this chemical and that. Or it might be ez to get the krystal clean water system it 200 there in walmart u just add the salt to the water and it keeps it clean. With that would i still need to buy chlorine and check it every day the water and add this and that to it. C i dont got a lot of times on my hand and not to much money. so is it more convient to buy the bottle to bottle chemical. O one more thing there so many chemicals to choose from from htc from balace to algae are they like step 1 2 3 4 or what i really dont want to mix match i just want to get what i need to keep my water clean and clear cheap and no to take to much time of mine. Or what is that salt water system. I mean I'll spend what I have to but in other words i don't want any of those aroma therapy drops or any amenities i dont need. just to keep the water clean and clear. Please Explain to me easiest shortest way possible but if u have to detailed. I just want to know for sure what I'm getting and it compatible with everything else what I'm getting. Thanks.

There is nothing cheap or easy about having a pool…. at all!

If I could understand your english I might be able to help. but one thing I understand is that you have pool. The pool should have manual. If you can afford a pool you can afford to keep it clean. go to the supplier and ask "How do I keep the water clean?" It is not hard once you know how.

It doesnt sound like you even have a filter. you need to get yourself a pool water testing kit. you will need chlorine tablets, algaecide and baking soda. Baking soda raises the pH. Algaecide prevents algae growth, which is what causes your water to be green. Chlorine keeps your pool water clear of bacteria and other things.

If you do not understand how to use or read a pool water testing kit, then go to your local pool and spa dealer and have them teach you. all of these things can be found at walmart. Also ask the pool/spa dealer what you need to do to winterize(close) and also what you need to do to open it in the spring.

Pool care is a daily task, but shouldn't take up an extrodinary amount of time, except to use a net to remove the bugs and a nylon pool brush to scrub the liner to rid it of the algae.

If you dont have the time to devote to it, then drain it and sell it.

I would. My spa's part of the pool, and gunite, so I don't worry about it. The biggest issue is not to use too much chemical. take a water sample to a reputable pool or spa store and they will analyze the water for free and tell you what you need to balance the chemicals.

NO it isn't. The pool chlorine shock treatment will interact with the bromine. The two each negate the other and this makes them not work right. you need chlorine free shock treatment. I found this out the hard way when the hot tub at the house I just moved into kept getting cloudier and cloudier. when we questioned the guy at the spa place he told us that you need chlorine free shock treatment. He said we were causing the cloudiness because of the interaction between the bromine and the chlorine. Also besides bromine and the chlorine free shock treatment you also will need rust and scale remover as well as chemicals to raise and lower the PH. you can get a test kit, and test the water yourself, but don't use a pool test kit because they don't measure bromine.

Sure can they are all the same!
